Michael Koungras Presentation Overview Michael will discuss the most common hardstand solutions used for public infrastructure and identify the particular differences between segmental concrete pavers and concrete pavement in terms of design, build and ongoing maintenance. Background Michael is the Engineering Manager at Austral Masonry. He is a Civil Engineer specialising in segmental paving and retaining wall systems. Since joining Austral Masonry, Michael has been involved in the successful delivery of numerous projects including the Barangaroo headland and Port Botany with experiencing working with clients that include: Goodman, Lend Lease, Frasers (formerly Australand) and McConnell Dowell. He has experience in design and construction management of heavy duty pavements, permeable pavements, and commercial retaining wall infrastructure.
