In this presentation, our speakers will provide an overview of the boundary-pushing façade and interior design for Smart Design Studio in North Alexandria New South Wales.

The drive to create ever more imaginative and unique façade designs is continually challenging conventional engineering practices, forcing façade engineers to produce ever more complicated and elaborate engineering designs to meet creative briefs.

Curved brickwork defines this project with bold brick arches dominating the interior of this project while external brick curves seem to float thanks to some clever engineering, installation techniques and design. With conservation being a key principle, brick also served as a crucial element in allowing the project to align with old heritage warehouses surrounding the inner city neighbourhood.
