Located in the vibrant suburb of Sunbury, Elanor Estate presents a stunning array of residences that embrace nature and modern design to form intimate sanctuaries within a well-connected community. Just 30 kilometers from Melbourne’s CBD, the neighbourhood offers an urban lifestyle within a tranquil country setting. The estate features 18 townhouses and single-level villas. The single-level, three-bedroom villas are situated on the street side, extending onto landscaped front and rear yards, whilst the townhomes designed for families, span two levels and provide direct access to Harpers Creek.

Each of the residences feature natural and textured materials including warm timber joinery, oak-inspired floors, and sleek concrete roof tiles. They were also designed with sustainability in mind, from rainwater harvesting to low-maintenance green spaces, and energy-efficient concrete roof tiles.

“Concrete tiles are also one of the most affordable materials available […] strong and enduring, they will not rust or corrode, and are covered by a 50 year warranty.”

Designer Alabaster concrete roof tiles from Bristile Roofing were utilised across the estate, strengthening both aesthetics and functionality. Sleek, minimalist and quietly undulating, the elegant Designer range brings together a stunning collection of colours developed to complement any style or colour scheme.

As a lighter roofing tile option they provide a number of benefits. Concrete roof tiles can reflect more heat than other commonly used building materials, due to the concrete sarking layer that reflects up to 95% of radiant heat. Lighter coloured tiles have been shown to lower air temperature by up to 9 degrees celsius in the roof space, significantly reducing the need for high energy consumption cooling devices. Concrete tiles are also one of the most affordable materials available being that they withstand the test of time. These light roof tiles are strong and enduring, they will not rust or corrode, and are covered by a 50 year warranty. Moreover, the National Construction Code now requires all new Australian homes to achieve a 7 star energy rating. Simple improvements to your rating can be made by incorporating lighter coloured roof tiles. Additionally, concrete roof tiles are excellent sound insulators, able to reduce noise by 30 decibels which is more than twice the noise reduction achieved by lightweight materials.
