Bristile Roofing La Escandella Curvado in Aitana

Barrenjoey is a refined coastal residence nestled in Sydney’s exclusive Palm Beach, where the allure of Spanish-Moroccan charm seamlessly meets the clean lines and understated elegance of contemporary Australian luxury. Set against the tranquil backdrop of Pittwater, this exquisite project serves not only as a home, but a serene retreat thoughtfully crafted for effortless coastal living. Every element, from its architectural detailing to the enduring choice of materials, speaks to a design philosophy rooted in beauty, functionality, and timeless sophistication.

Designed and built by LoveLife Projects, this Palm Beach home stands as a masterclass in architectural and aesthetic balance. At its heart lies a deeply considered interior vision by acclaimed designer Marco Meneguzzi, who drew inspiration from the sun-drenched tones and soulful textures of Spanish-Moroccan design. His palette embraces the warmth of sun-baked terracotta, the organic depth of rugged natural stone, and the quiet patina of aged copper, creating a tactile richness that elevates every room. The interiors unfold with the intimacy and sophistication of a boutique hotel, yet remain tailored to relaxed family living.

Bristile Roofing’s La Escandella Curvado tiles in the Aitana finish lend a distinct sense of character and heritage to the project.”

Working to the home’s existing structure, LoveLife Projects reimagined the floorplan to create open plan living spaces that seamlessly connect with the surrounding landscape. Expansive glazing floods both levels with natural light, while perfectly framing uninterrupted views of Pittwater. The residence is cleverly divided into two distinct living zones, offering versatility for entertaining guests or enjoying private retreat. Warm timber flooring anchors the interiors with an organic feel, while the muted green joinery introduces a subtle, refined elegance throughout.

Further warmth is woven into the fabric of the home through the considered choice of roofing. Bristile Roofing’s La Escandella Curvado tiles in the Aitana finish lend a distinct sense of character and heritage to the project. Crafted from the highest quality terracotta, the Curvado range captures an enduring grandeur through its interlocking design, an elegant reinterpretation of the traditional pan and cover tiles that have long defined European and Mediterranean architecture. This choice not only enhances the home’s tactile richness but also deepens its Spanish-Moroccan narrative, echoing the timeless rooftops of sun-soaked coastal villages.
