inDETAIL with John Wardle, Wardle – Hobart
Brickworks is excited to welcome guest speaker John Wardle for the next instalment of inDETAIL.
John is a renowned design architect who builds upon a site’s topography, landscape, history, and context. As an astute communicator, he excels in connecting people and developing creative partnerships that foster novel thinking and innovative practices.
John believes that detail reveals the nature of material, function, and experience of occupation. His keen perception of each project's unique character and his innate understanding of materials are evident in his work.
John's conceptual sketches, known for their densely overlaid nature, reflect his meticulous search for the right line in every circumstance.
This event will be hosted by Stephen Varady, architect and collaborator, who shares Brickworks' passion for architecture, design and innovation.
