Designing 7-star homes is no longer a “nice to have” – it’s rapidly becoming the new baseline. Yet for many Building Designers, Energy Efficiency Assessors and architects, accessing clear, practical guidance on how to design and document for 7-star compliance can be challenging, especially outside major cities.

The Design Matters National Regional Roadshow has begun its journey across regional Australia to help close this gap, bringing targeted, practice-ready information and networking opportunities directly to Building Designers, Energy Efficiency Assessors and architects. The regional roadshow, proudly sponsored by AWS, highlights the importance of industry partnerships in getting the right knowledge, to the right people, in the right places. This collaboration ensures regional professionals have access to the same quality of information and connections as their city counterparts. The breakfast at Brickworks is part of a 5 event festival over two days, directly before the Hobart Regatta Weekend (7–9 February), where built environment professionals from all over Tasmania, and the mainland, will travel to Hobart for an educational and enjoyable lead in to the long weekend.
