Developer-builder Simon Theobald of En Vogue Developments originally intended this striking home to be for his personal use. He describes the design as “a home that defines a modern Australian lifestyle.”

Dubbed the ‘Hollywood’ home and situated in a quiet, leafy street in Mount Waverley, a middle-ring eastern suburb of Melbourne, this strikingly elegant design blends a casual suburban lifestyle with the high-end resort style typical of far north Queensland.

As one of Melbourne’s finest boutique developers and a specialist in luxury residences, En Vogue has used Daniel Robertson bricks for a number of years. So their decision to use Roman 50mm Buff Blend bricks was an easy one.

Simon Theobald considers the bricks to enhance the overall design and capture the objectives of the project. “(They) complement and highlight the natural and built environment,” he explains. “The subtle earthly tones work well against the rich timber and stone facade.”

Their slim lines and earthy colour variation make Daniel Robertson Roman 50mm bricks a popular choice. They enhance the horizontal lines of a building and give a tapestry-like appearance.
