Austral Bricks champions biodiversity

October 2018

Biodiversity is vital if we want to keep Planet Earth alive and well. Austral Bricks is doing its small part by investing in improvements to Western Sydney’s Eastern Creek biodiversity.

Recently, we committed $200,000 over a three-year period to improve our neighbourhood and return local flora to as near its original state.

The funds will go towards weed control and the regeneration of native vegetation and replanting. This vital work is in partnership with Muru Mittigar, a contracting social enterprise that has a unique model of traditional land management practice. Put simply, it implements the most up to date industry practice using local Aboriginal People who want to be involved in a project that promotes greater social and economic independence for themselves and their people.
